*We'll enjoy a track from this British band's last album to feature one of their quite young members. The song was a bit different from a Bo Diddley R & B classic of the same name. The track also later became an American Top 20 hit for another popular 60's British band. Name the band that first released the track in 1967 and extra credit for the band member who left shortly thereafter and the name of the song...
*One of the major 60's soul stars, this artist was one of the roughest and sweatiest...working up some of the hottest dancefloor grooves. He certainly appealed to fans that preferred their soul on the rawer side! He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2006 at the age of 64. Name the artist (I'm thinking your first guess won't be the correct guess!) *This American band only lasted 2 years back in the 60's, but that was to be expected as many of their members didn't really play with many bands that had long tenures. We'll dip into their 1968 album that was very much strained by the fact that some members chose not to play on songs written by other members of the band. That's pretty heavy friction right there. Name the band... *The 1967 release by this incredible band was surprisingly a quite strong experimental album for a band known for 3 minute pop singles. But then, the band did become well-known for experimentation. This group did, however, contribute significantly to the changing landscape of rock at the time. The song we'll enjoy, a tribute to their ex-manager who'd passed 2 years prior to its release. Name the band and extra credit for the name of the song..
