MUSIC QUIZ FROM LOONEY’S TUNES SHOW Sep 27, 2026 #379

* This fantastic American artist released his last album in 2018.  He would pass 2 years later from complications of the Covid-19 virus at the age of 73.  We're going to dip into a rather epic compilation release of his best-known material that came out 6 months after his passing.  Name the artist...

*To say that this band's debut 1971 album is a folk-pop classic would be a radical understatement.  The album was largely considered a huge influence on groups like Eagles, Dan Fogelberg, Crosby, Stills & Nash to name just a few.  Name the band...

*It's said that if you play a specific song from this southern band's 1978 album at about 38 rpm, it would sound just like Fleetwood Mac, which really isn't too surprising since both bands spin their mellow rock concoctions around a thickly accented snare beat.  Name the band...

*The relationship between this 1960's British band member and his wife can be summed up by his answer to a question.   When asked if a song he wrote was inspired by his wife, the artist replied...'Maybe, probably'.  The casual answer was predictable as she was the inspiration for songs from another artist later.  Name the artist and extra credit for the name of the song.
