*This song made its debut in 1974, when the artist opened a gig at Harvard Square for an equally famous performer.  Its all about the spirit of restless youth yearning to hit the road and live life to the fullest.  This song was the very first track written by the artist for a studio production.  Name the artist and extra credit for the name of the song.  And deep credit for anyone who can name the other artist at Harvard Square back in 1974,,,

*Many songs make liberal use of metaphor in their lyrics, but rarely is a song title a direct metaphor, which is the case with this track.  The song was the last top ten hit for this band as the group left the glam rock scene for the more plush atmosphere of pop-driven music.  One of the more serene song titles by this British glam rock band, name the group and extra credit for the name of the song...

*There have been many songs about a love so strong it takes over the brain's decision-making process, but this artist hit on a new way to say it with his 1985 song that became a #1 hit in America.  The artist knew the song could be misinterpreted into being about drugs, food or drink, but what he ended up with was much more attractive.  He wanted to record the song as a duet with a famous female performer, but her label balked.  Name the artist...extra credit for the name of the song and even more if you know with whom he wanted to duet with...Good Luck all the way around on this one...

*Two members of this legendary band finally realized in 1971 that whenever they got together musically to write and record songs...there was something greater than the two of them.  The two Brits absolutely loved this particular song and their fans did as well.  It was, in the eyes of the writers, an 'aspirational , kind of corny testament to the universe.  They had a special piano player join them for the recording.  Name the band, the songwriters and extra credit for the name of the track...
