*Back to 1965 for this one that begins with acoustic guitar strums and ascending minor-key harmonies, eventually introducing electric guitar chords during the chorus.  The song is considered an early example of folk rock, but also bears similarity to British beat.  Sylvestor Stewart, yep, he of Sly and Family Stone fame, produced this song for the group, something that greatly influenced the band on this song and future efforts.  Tough one...Name the band and extra credit for the name of the song...
 
*Talk about coming by musical talent honestly, there are more than a few kids of famous artists who have or are now enjoying musical careers.  This particular artist (now 53 years of age) was born to gifted musical parents who eventually divorced.  Mom remarried...to another incredible musician, presenting the artist in question with both a very talented Father and Stepfather.  So much to answer here.  Name the artist and extra credit for names of Mom, Dad and Stepdad!
