*Few groups that established themselves in the 1960's survived the transition into the 1970's better than this particular band. Like many of the San Francisco bands, they were initially a young blues band that developed into one of the pioneers of the psychedelic rock scene.  Name the band that is a staple of Shiraz Alikhan's shows

*We'll play the very 1st hit by a Cleveland, Ohio band from the mid-60's, just one of 4 songs that charted for the band that year.  The writer of this song started writing it in 1958, but it took 7 years to get it recorded and released.  The lead singer for the band was also the lead singer (Sonny Geraci) for a one-hit wonder band and the song, Precious and Few.  The drummer (Jim Fox) of the band on their 1st album later formed The James Gang with Joe Walsh.
Can you name the band, their 1st hit?  And extra credit for the name of the band that did Precious And Few...

*Bob Dylan wrote this song with only 3 chords and a simple melody.  It started out as a song called 'Up To Me', a song recorded by another artist the following year.  Dylan re-named the song based on a line from Creedence Clearwater Revival's, 'Who'll Stop The Rain?'  The song expresses the sadness of not knowing what you have until its gone.  It's not 'Up To Me'...but name the song when Dylan released it in 1975.

*Eric Clapton had some help writing this track from an artist who is listed on the album as "L'angelo Misterioso" who also played rhythm guitar on the song.  The title has nothing to do with the song and was actually named by mistake when Clapton misread his co-writer's notes.  The track was one of only 3 studio recordings on Cream's last album and had actually broken up by the time the album was released.  Name the co-writer and the song...
